True wisdom is in leaning
On Jesus Christ, our Lord;
True wisdom is in trusting
His own life-giving Word. —Anon
This past month for me has been asking lots of questions and asking for wisdom. I continue to learn what it means to lean on Jesus and stand on His promises even when I can’t see any change around me. He has said it … He will do it!
I did a lot of traveling in the month of November and enjoyed seeing Gods creation, spending time with wonderful friends and meeting new ones along the way!
I even got to hang out in Victoria with girls that I mentored when I was an RD at TWU! It was so fun to be with them! Thanks ladies!
One of the highlights of November for me was going to Camp Squeah and visiting the SEED program. (For those interested in an amazing discipleship program check out: http://www.squeahseed.com)
I was able to share my story with some great young people and hear parts of theirs! also got to do some High Ropes elements – SO COLD outside but SO AMAZING!
I can hardly wait to see what God will do in Rwanda!!
Another BIG praise item is that my second nephew – Jonathan Komant was born Dec 5th 2011. He was a little late in coming but was big and healthy when he arrived!! My parents, who arrived safely in Rwanda and are busy as ever, are looking forward to meeting him at the end of December God willing.
Safe travels – I get to go home to Rwanda for a month (January 2012) and will be traveling back at the end of December with Jeff and Jodi and the boys. Please pray for traveling mercies.
Provision – Please continue to pray with me over the right people and partnerships. I do believe that God will provide and even though I struggling with my “emotions” sometimes I know that God is in control!!
